Dear all; Enclosed a syrphid I found south of Vienna ~300m last weekend. I saw two specimen crawling around the roots of Hemerocallis which would not really fit to host of larva. But in the same garden there is also Narcissus growing. So maybe the search of the fly just needs another fine tuning.. Is this another colour variation of Merodon equestris?
