Lauxaniidae Sapromyza apparently
nick smith
So, I was wrong, not drosophila but Lauxaniidae Sapromyza

(I'm getting better(?) - this was not just a guess, but a calculated guess, then comparison with the gallery photos. So hopefully Drosophila). The eyes appear to be green or could that be a reflection from the leaves?

Don't worry, Nick. You will learn all this stuff. It requires time and study. Wink After all, the most important thing is having fun! So,no stresses! And as friend Valery told: "Keep on trying (..)"! Wink

Sapromyza. Better change the title to lure Katka in for an ID.

I find that a pin and a blindfold is the best way to make decisions regarding ID'ing from the Gallery....It works for me....Pfft Bit hard on the Laptop Screen though...Frown
