Eristalinus...but which?

Hi, this fly was identified as Eristalinus sp in a different Forum. Can any of the experts here determine the exact species? Length approx 5-6 mm Hamburg, Germany, 17-July-2010 Thanks & Rgds (P.S. Multiple attachments would make things much easier... ) |

The eyes are converging, but they don't touch. So it's a male, and Eristalinus sepulchralis. Also the markings on tergites 2,3 look right for that species. Chris. |
