hello insektforum,


I found some of these black-and-white treerunners on the bark of Populus sp.
The size is about 4 mm.
place: Amsterdamse bos - Amsterdam Forest

what kind of insekts are these? Cool

Hi Robert.
It is Tachydromia, Hybotidae, it seems that it has more than 2 bristles on scutellum, in this case T. umbrarum.

Tachydromia sp. are a new experience for me, never seen them before (and there are a lot, I supose..) I looked also to your Tachydromia pictures in the diptera.info topics.
