hello insektforum, I found some of these black-and-white treerunners on the bark of Populus sp. The size is about 4 mm. place: Amsterdamse bos - Amsterdam Forest what kind of insekts are these?  robert heemskerk Edited by Robert Heemskerk on 07-09-2006 22:59 |

Hi Robert. It is Tachydromia, Hybotidae, it seems that it has more than 2 bristles on scutellum, in this case T. umbrarum. Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

Thank you very much Nikita! Tachydromia sp. are a new experience for me, never seen them before (and there are a lot, I supose..) I looked also to your Tachydromia pictures in the diptera.info topics. Interesting  stressfull flies.. |
