Hi Black This is indeed a female Lonchaeid, the majority of species cant be told apart but this one is easier to identify - its Lonchaea fugax the "yellow footed lancefly" is there any chance that I can use some of these images for a forthcoming Handbook on the British species ?? you can contact me at iain.macgowan@snh.gov.uk ...
