This blackish female was about 6 mm. It seems to blackish but my thoughts is about Lejogaster or Orthonevra brevicornis, but brevicornis should propably not be present here up north. Can anyone help me? Photo from Skällsjön, Ångermanland, Sweden 62.53N 17.45 E 8 july 2010 Thanks for your help in advance Regards Kurt Holmqvist Edited by kurt on 24-10-2010 15:46 |

Thanks for your help Andre. It seems that we here i northern part of Sweden should have M. aerosa, and parumplicata. Could it one of them? Kurt Holmqvist |

Considering the apparent absence of hairs on the mesoscutum, my guess would be M. nuda. But it's possible that the hairs are there, but just not visible on this picture. |

Thanks for your reply Menno. M. nuda should only be present about 800 km south of my place. M. hirtella can be found about 250 km from here. I understand that females is very difficult. Kurt Holmqvist |
