Hi, If I follow the key, this should be Platycheirus discimanus as it has 4 sets of yellow spots and we don't have P. groenlandicus. However, there's always a however when I don't know what I'm looking at! Is it possible to say which species this is? I have two flying pics. 21st May 2010, my garden near Lincoln UK. You are right Lukasz! I recognise P. manicatus except when in flight, it is one I had this year. Thanks! http://cubits.org... |
