Brazilian caterpillar infected with parasitic fly larvae?

Hi, The caterpillar was huge, I think about 8-10cm.. At first I didn't know what to think about these white things stuck to it until it dawned to me it had to be parasitic eggs, poor thing! ![]() 14th February 2010 Rainforest on the banks of a river, Paraty-Brazil Thank you! Myriam ![]() |

Looks more like a hymenopteron, probably Braconidae.
