Ohh, missed this picture before ... so this is what that Black guy looks like  How many insects did you two collect during your stay in Turkey, if I may ask!? Only diptera or other orders too? I also wonder how many photos you took during the one week(?) stay ... This summer I took about 1400 photos (many alt exposures) during my three week holiday. If I would have had my new DSLR camera then I would probably have taken even more. |

Hi crex, Nikita could give you an estimate of Diptera species collected. Of course we also collected other insects, especially Coleoptera with good chances to identify them all, but also a considerable number of Hymenoptera, Heteroptera, Lepidoptera, Orthoptera, etc. I've made around 2,000 pictures in 9 days, with a large portion of landsapes, sea views, and plants, though. |

Thnx. Interesting. Two thousand photos is impressing. I guess Nikita too took quite a few. Have you considered publishing a report or diary from this trip?  |
