Are these larvae the dipteran ones? They were under bark of the dead birch trunk - numerous as seen in the photo. The photos were taken on 26th of February 2011 near Hradec Králové, East Bohemia, CZ. Look like Diptera. Family Ceratopogonidae. Genus Forcipomyia. For me looking like Forcipomyia (Forcipomyia) nigra (Winnertz, 1852) but it is only suggestion |
