Hello, my first fast impression was Volucella bombylans. Considering the wing venation it should be a Merodon. Is it a M. equestris var.? Veins look slighly different compared to the specimen I photographed before. Greetings, Marion Photo: Germany, Saxony, forrest, 01.05.2011 Edited by Marion Friedrich on 04-05-2011 06:59 |

Thank you, Andre. I was on the wrong track. Now I see the Eristalis. Best regards, Marion |
