 Fly from caves 5 - Empididae, Dolichocephala?

Hello everyone, here is one more fly caught in caves in Germany, August 2001, around 3mm in size. Looks like empidid Dolichocephala to me. Am I far from truth? Andrius Edited by Andrius on 21-05-2011 08:34 |

It's the first time I see Dolichocephala, but the fly is very specific and gallery helped a lot  Thank you, Paul. |
