 Syrphidae - Cheilosia derasa

Unfortunately only one bad photo and no specimen collected - found near a mountain brook - photo not deleted, because never seen again - first I should ask: could it be an interesting species? My guess would be around Rhinophoridae, but I have never seen anything similar. |

It's a syrphid Given the presence of scutellar bristles, I would say: Cheilosia. With > 100 spec., impossible to come to species ID. Theo Zeegers |

Thanks all! Have seen a lot Cheilosia species there, but no species with this wing attitude. I confess: Cheilosia was one of my ideas too ;-) Best regards Frank |
