This afternoon I shot a strange little fly ... Having a very quick look at the gallery I found that Aulacigastridae could be the family of this fly ... never seen such a thing before ... Am I right ? Loire-atlantique, western France, may 28 2011. Edited by pat_der2003 on 28-05-2011 22:15 |

No, I think it's Physiphora alceae (Ulidiidae).

Sometimes it is better to start from the rear end, from Z, as U is much closer... P. alceae, no doubts!
