Photograph taken July 08, 2011, in terrace housing in urban areas in Motril, Granada, Spain.
Immediate area of the Mediterranean coast.
Approximate size, no antennae or tails 3-4 mm

Looking on the genre, I see very identity with Corythucha identified as ciliata. Could it be the same?

Indeed, it is Corythucha ciliata, for sure.
Thank you also for your confirmation.

No, not in Platanus. I was on the leaves of a jasmine

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
