This is Mycetophilidae? My ID is based on the stout leg bristles and the humped thorax. Is it possible to be more specific with the ID? Is this a male or female and how does one tell in this family? Attracted to lights, October 2006, West Virginia USA. Length 5.5 mm. --Stephen Stephen Cresswell www.americaninsects.net |
