Machimus cf pilipes from Cunault . T. cf atricapillus
Quaedfliegh
See also other topic about Machimus from Sologne.

At first I thought I had collected the same species as in the Sologne because of the black and red beard, but I noticed some differences. Scutellum with 5/6 marginal bristles, postocular bristles are black. Although a female it seems to key out to mentioned species but in description of Engel beard should consist of “Rötlich weissen borsten” with some black at the top mingled in. This one has got some more than some.

Checked Tolmerus atricapillus in local museum and found out that 1 in 5 had also 6 marginal bristles on scutellum. So probably T. cf atricapillus.....
