HELP!

Can anyone help with identifiction of this fruit FLY?

The picture was taken on the 5th November when I noticed this fly in my garden on the Ivy berries.

My gut feeling is Tephritis Formosa (female).

John Smit will probably help you if he finds the post. Chance of that increases with a descriptive subject line. We also wonder in what part of the world your berries are Wink

I forgot to say that the fly was seen in the UK Berkshire town of Reading. The Ivy is actually in flower at the moment and covered with wasps plus this unidentified fruit fly.
