Dolichomitus can only be reliably identified by examination of the tip of the ovipositor (not the external sheath) and then best done laterally ... it isn't hard to do under a microscope but it is very hard to do when alive ![]() Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London. |
