A leafminer fly (Agromyzidae). The wing venation points towards genus Phytomyza with more than 300 species described from Europe alone. |

This fly was found invariably on cabbage or related cruciferous plants. I think this one is a cosmopoiitan pest species. Does this give any clue? |

After some google search there seems to be a well-researched cosmopolitan Phytomyza sp indeed, Phytomyza rufipes. Can someone confirm that? I have not found usable images on the net unfortunately using Phytomyza rufipes or cabbage leaf miner as keywords. |
