Another one; this one appreciably smaller than the previous "call it Bombyliid". Place: Chisamba, Lusaka North, Zambia. Habitat: Ornamental flowerbeds (within a wider area of dry scrub ). Size - 7-9mm. Date: 21-08-2011 Edited by Will van Niekerk on 06-12-2014 12:40 |

Via Hesse 1956 key - and the Nomenclator to sort out synonymy - this seems to be Exhyalanthrax abruptus. And I knew I'd already put it here somewhere. |
