Chinese Eristlid + friend
Gordon
Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, China. March the 8th 2012, near the garbage. The first flies I have seen thius year. The nematoceran, if that is what it is is in my next post.

Is it just Eristalis Tenax, can it be told?

The images are refusing to load, I don't know why. Changing the file name got the second image to load but the first image is still refusing.

They were the first flies I have seen in two months, there will be more Paul, and anyway, it might have been something else.Grin I went out again on Saturday, I saw a few midges but nothing that wasn't passing on the breeze, Spring is very late here this year.
