Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, China. March the 8th 2012, near the garbage. The first flies I have seen thius year. The nematoceran, if that is what it is is in my next post. The images are refusing to load, I don't know why. Changing the file name got the second image to load but the first image is still refusing.

They were the first flies I have seen in two months, there will be more Paul, and anyway, it might have been something else. I went out again on Saturday, I saw a few midges but nothing that wasn't passing on the breeze, Spring is very late here this year.
