Hi Switzerland, 430 msm, near Lake Zurich 20.04.2012, near housgarden and ditch Is it Epistrophe? E.flava? same as here, but the male? Hi Brigitte  It's an Epistrophe but not E. falva, E. falva have not black "lip". It's either E. melanostoma or E. nitidicollis. E. melanostoma has yellow-orange hairs on the scutellum. E. nitidicollis has brown hairs on the scutellum. So, I would have said E. melanostoma  P-Y |
