From comparison with my spider atlas I dare a guess: Metellina cf. mengei (cp. http://www.eurosp...mengei.htm). It is closely related to the frequent autumn spider M. segmentata but appears earlier in the year. Size and basic colouration pattern fit the description, but the colouration of the ventral side of the belly would be good to know.
