Carnota, please keep an eye on the width of the images: preferable max. 600 pix. Wink

Thanks Tony for the id Smile

Paul, sorry for the size of the images. I know, I must adapt to the forum code of conduct. My images will be 600 pix in the future. Sad
Anyway I think that a similar system as in the Diptera Gallery could be a possible idea for dealing with greater images in the forum: posting of big and more detailed images could be possible if the system can build a snapshot of 600 pix that pops up an independent window with the original.
In any case, the design and the functionality of this web is superb Smile

As long as the size in bytes does not exceed the limit you can make the pictures almost as big as you want. After clicking the thumbnail you will get a larger image, but clicking that image will lead you to the full-size picture (and that may be larger than the one you thought was the largest Wink).

Paul, I guess you are talking about the gallery, not the forum. One complicated way of showing larger photos in the Forum is to attach the photo with width 600px and make that image a link to a larger photo stored on another site.

You are right, I must have missed some of Carnota's comment (scrolling windows, eh? Wink).
