Hi, About 10 days ago I saw this small greenish Syrphid in a Philadelphus flower. It recalled a Chrysogaster, and the only "green match" was C. virescens. Can this be confirmed? Thanks in advance, Sundew Edited by Sundew on 10-12-2012 00:06 |

Yes, that could very well be, but not entirely sure from these pictures...

It is either C. virescens or C. rondanii. Without a voucher we will never know. Dieter |
