Last year I took this picture of a Calliphora which is now on the wikipedia. Can anyone confirm if it is Calliphora vomitoria or if it is really some other species? kind regards, Jens Nielsen |

Difficult to be absolutely certain, but I think vomitoria is the most likely species

If it is not vomitoria, what are the alternatives, and how do I tell? I realise I made another picture with a close-up of the head, perhaps this helps with identification. Jens |
