We only have Istocheta longicornis listed in Sweden. I will try to take all the photos necessary (if possible) to confirm that ID. I'll be back later ... |

Istocheta key: 1: Arista thickened to more than half its length => 2 2: Arista thickened to ca 2/3 the length. Distance between subapical bristles almost the same as between basal bristle and subapical bristle (see image above) => 3 |

It is definitely Istochaeta and it looks like longicornis indeed. Supposed to be nocturnal. How did you get it ?? Theo |
