 Tachinidae egg on Elasmucha grisea ?

I've found an egg of Tachinidae on this Elasmucha grisea (Acanthosomatidae), but not on the dorsal part of the pronotum like on this post http://www.dipter...d_id=42390 Subclytia rotundiventris has never been found in that region, but there are a lot of Ectophasia crassipennis. On the site of the North Dakota State University they give Elasmucha grisea as host of Ectophasia crassipennis. http://www.ndsu.n...t_Pent.htm Do you think it could be an egg of Ectophasia crassipennis ? Very often eggs like this on pentatomids turn into Subclytia rotundiventris  Well spotted!

Thanks, If I see again such an egg on a bug, I'd like to try to rear it, but I don't know how to do to keep the bug in good conditions. Could you give me some advices ? |
