Worm id
buggub
Hello,

i found this interesting worm or larvae. Please help to id it. Location is in Slovenia. Size is around 1 cm.

Thank you.

John Carr
Did it come from water? Was it moving? Some egg masses of Chironomidae are similar: long, gelatinous tubes with many dark spots.

I think it is more like a terrestrial planarian, some Rhynchodemidae, but don't know which and how many species you have in Slovenia

I found this worm in the forest ground. There was no water near.

I even think I see a pair of small black spots at the front (left on the photo) of the animal at the border unpigmented/pigmented part. If I search with google, then Microplana spec. may be a possibility. But I'm not familiar with terrestrial fauna.
It is definitely no worm (it is not an annelid as you can see....no annular rings).
