Looks like an easy task: Episyrphus balteatus. Photographed this afternoon visiting aquatic blossoms (esp. Stratiotes aloides) at our garden pond in the western Rhineland. I'd be grateful for confirmation or correction (and, of course, any other comments if you like). Thank you very much. |
