hi Flyforum, Some weeks ago I found a cocon of a Pieris sp. I took it with me and wathced it with patient.. After some days I was surprised to find another cocon next to the Pieris cocon.. I first thought it was a wasp sp. and didn't think of a tachinidae sp... So today I got another surprise.. It is a nice deepbleu coloured tachinidae which remind me of Epicampocera succincta ? Am I close to it? flygreet, robert |

Mmm... I can't see very much of the fly - but it certainly looks like Epicampocera and the host would be right ![]() |

This ID is quite correct and, as stated, the host is typical. Theo Zeegers |
