Syrphidae on lilies in our garden 50 km west of Cologne photographed today. Chrysotoxum elegans? Could you confirm or correct this? Thank you for your help. |

Chrysotoxum is correct. The key http://web.archiv...x_key.html starts with comparison of the length of the three antenna segments. As the antenna is quite blurred in the photos, we can only hope for an educated guess of a Syrphid expert! |
