Size: Few mm
Date: 15-04-07

It has been appeared on the blossoms of pear-tree.

Several Anthrenus species are dreadful pests in insect collections - very destructive and difficult to control. So a non-pest species is very welcome!

Yes, sorry - that was a joke for anyone who has ever tried to keep an insect collection for any length of time. Anthrenus are notorious for invading any store boxes and cabinets that have even the smallest cracks and then their larvae devour the dead insects, usually leaving small piles of dust and wings Sad
