Number 2 of 5 fly species that I photographed in Panama (feb 2012) but have not yet been able to identify.
Shot taken in El Valle, Panama.
Who can help?

Syrphidae, could be Palpada which has a lot of species in the tropics.

Yes, a male of Palpada sp. I'm not sure about the species...

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
