physocephala - who can help?

Last year I photographed a species of physocephala, but I can't identify this fly exactly. Who can help?

Nothing! - but I don't have a complete overview of all physocephala-speciesSad.

If I understand you, my pics shows definitely Ph.rufipes!?

98 % of Physocephala in central Europe is rufipes.
SO, in my experience, Physocephala = rufipes unless there is an obvious reason it isn't.
And as far as I can tell (can't see all features), this one fits rufipes.As does the period of the year in which the photo was taken (Ph. nigra is more a spring / early summer species).

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
