Hi.

This picture was taken in Stavanger area, Norway, 19. june 2013.

Hello Jozza,

This is actually a Platycheirus, male. Judging by the abdominal spots and by the protruding face this could be P. manicatus. In The Netherlands a typical coastal species. If you would have a lateral photo that would be helpful.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
