Paragus but which species
Valentin Nidergas
Hello,

The data is mentionned below the photos.
With the van Veen key I find 3 species but I can't decide between the 3 species:

Paragus (paragus) finitimus
Paragus (paragus) albifrons
Paragus (paragus) flammens

Can you preparate the genitalia? Study of the male genitalia is necessary to identify it.

Thank you Mr. van Veen for your answer !

I have conserved the genitalia into a microtube with glycerol. I can show you photos but I can not take good pictures...

You can see a photo that I've taken, but it isn't a good quality:

Thanks for the picture of the genitalia. It helps to exclude P. finitimus, which has a large tooth above the lingula. It, however, does not show enough details of the hypandrium and aedeagus. I think it is albifrons or flammeus. Could you make a picture of the decisive parts (see figure 552 and 553 in my book)? The quality of the picture is well enough, you have to find the right angle.

Thank you very much for your answer ! I will to take an other picture and I show you this ! Smile

But do you have any drawing who shox the anatomy of the male genitalia ? , because I don't know all parts of the anatomy...
