An orange springtime fly, is this Scathophagidae? ID help appreciated. 4 May 2007, along tiny creek, near both meadow and woodlands. West Virginia USA. Size not recorded; perhaps 6-7 mm but I'm not sure. --Stephen Stephen Cresswell www.americaninsects.net |
