Hi, Please could anyone help to id this? found yesterday near the edge of a wood in rural sussex...maybe 4mm? it was hard to get a good shot ...this fly runs fast thanks, Noel |

Possibly arrogans, but maybe the dark band are rather broad for that species, or rather the pale narrow band between the dark band too narrow.
