Hello, I think this is a Xylota, perhaps Xylota segnis? I photographed the fly on 17.7.2014 in my garden (Furth im Wald, Bavaria, Germany). Regards Ingrid |

Subfamily and tribe are the same, but this is a Syritta pipiens female |
