Stephen, please note that friulensis it is not cited in Tolra's catalogue from iberian peninsula. Cited in Iberia: D. albostriatus, eggeri, pinastri, tricinctus, and venustus... |

But the truth is that the fly in the images doesn't fit any of the species cited in the catalogue for Spain and fits very well Dasysyrphus friulensis I am with Stephane Nice finding!! |
