Chalcidoidea ID
bums
hello, can anyone help me to ID this little green one? I must admit, I even don't know if its a bee or a wasp...as my guess is bee
it is very little..approx.3mm and found on 23-08 in Voeren,Belgium.
I thought of chrysididae or ceratina_sp, but couldn't find anything comparable...
thanks a lot for looking into this...chris

I see, thanks Jorge and Valerio...so I guess IDing is not so easy?

tristram
Might be a Torymus sp (Torymidae) but I am not an expert.

It's actually Pteromalidae, Miscogasterinae.

If I google for "Pteromalidae, Miscogasterinae" , I find some info, some photos as well. a lot of chinese as well Smile
some actually do look like the little green one in the picture. I also have learned that there are some 125 different specimen of Miscogasterinae.
I think further IDyng is nearly impossible, so i will keep it like Miscogasterinae sp.

thanks a lot tristram en empeejay Smile
