Photographed in my garden (Suffolk, TM166450) on 15 Sept 2014 at about 17:30 on a Plumbago (Ceratostigma) flower. No specimen taken. I think it may be an Anthomyiid. Please help. Regards, Martin Edited by Martin Cooper on 03-10-2014 14:17 |

Thanks Johanna. How nice to have these photos of a live one. I know we usually need the specimen to be sure of an ID, but these beautiful creatures are so much nicer when they are alive and active amongst the flowers! Best wishes, Martin |
