Hello! The males are easy, but does this female from yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany) also belong to species P. hemiptera? At least it must belong to an even large species of the genus. Thanks for any comments! Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

I think so - it looks identical to female P. hemiptera I see here - but Theo will be able to put it in a mainland-European perspective ![]() |

You already did. Any Phasia with reddish hairs on pleurae is hemiptera, even on the mainland. Theo |
