Hello, can someone identify this tachinid fly? The larvas - 2 of them - lived in a caterpiller, found in late November; family Noctuidae, subfamily Noctuinae, not sure, but I think Xestia sp. I still have the speciman. Location: Germany, Rhineland-Palatinum, 53572 Unkel, river Rhine valley, Stux hill, dry and warm habitat (grapeyards),11. 01. 2015 (date of foto, the fly hatched two days earlier). Thanks in advance, Michael Edited by Michael Stemmer on 14-01-2015 14:14 |
