Mid Sweden okt. On metal fence (diameter ca 3mm).

yes, it is a Dasysyrphus species.
It is a Syprhidae for the posterior spiracles are fused and it is Dasysyrphus for the anal segment has these long pointed posteriorly directed projections

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
