Hi,please could anyone help me to id these ? I had presumed they were Sepedon spinipes..but i did a quick check and noticed that the other pics dont have the same wing patterns? Found a few days back in rural sussex uk. thanks,Noel Edited by fleabag on 28-05-2007 15:37 |

Yes, Noel, Sciomyzidae. But not Sepedon, it is Limnia and as it is female we can get a species level ID Limnia unguicornis Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
