Dear all, there`s just one (bad) photo, because the fly was very shy and disappeared, so I could not get close. Garden, northern upper rhine rift, South-West-Germany, april, 29th, 2015, about 11mm. Flying around remarkable slowly on ground (ivy leafs), seemed rather slim/elongate to me. I tried this key (http://biostor.org/reference/95738), but it`s senseless for me with no experience in field with Epistrophe-species except E. eligans and with just that one photo. I show this, because maybe e. g. early flight time, small triangle black spot on abdomen end and antennae colour say anything? E. melanostoma for example? Or is E. nitidicollis also possible? Thank you in advance for taking a look at this. Best regards, Thorsten Edited by ThorstenRoeder on 02-05-2015 16:59 |
