Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Liether Kalkgruben near Tornesch, at an uncultivated natural area, 25 m, Outsidefoto: kuv, 13th of May 2015. Perhaps it could be Criorhina_asilica? Please help to get the ID. Kuv Edited by kuv on 08-06-2015 17:40 |

Hello, kuv wrote: Perhaps it could be Criorhina_asilica? I'm no expert, but I found C. asilica less hairy. I would say, Criorhina berberina. Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

In my opinion, C. berberina is more hairy :-) https://www.flickr.com/photos/63075200@N07/sets/72157629247276702/ see also https://www.flickr.com/photos/63075200@N07/collections/72157629245717158/ |

Yes treebeard, that pictures, named Criorhina berberina by Steven Falk, show a more hairy Syrphid. Thanks for this hint. For "my" fly this may perhaps suggest in direction of C. asilica. So I hope that this lines will be read by an expert, who tells me the "real" ID of "my" fly ... |
